About Us
Bravo Center was created in 2011 following the closure of the French School of Split which was an initiative of the parents of students and workers who regretted the loss of an establishment allowing their children to follow immersion education in French. Immediately afterwards, the need to expand the offer in the English language was evident.
We first worked out of a small apartment with small groups before we were able to move into a larger space and thanks to this, work with larger groups.
There have been changes over the years, but one thing has remained the same… Our love for children and language.
We are a democratically run non-profit association since 2015. In other words, most decisions are determined by vote.
Teaching languages and customs adds value to a child's education and we wanted to make sure this service was accessible for young children so they could start as early as possible.
Since 2020, our association obtained the Flam label (French Mother Tongue) and joins the network of 168 Flam associations around the world, supported by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the AEFE (the Agency for French education abroad).
